Roof Terrace With Artificial Grass
Look Real Lawns were asked to survey the roof of Meridian Primary School to assess its suitability for artificial grass in Autumn 2013. We worked with Meridian to deliver a high-quality, low maintenance rooftop lawn against a tight deadline.
The client’s site was located on the top of a 5 story building, presenting challenges in itself. However we also had to consider drainage and durability, as well as creating a child-friendly solution.
Creating Our Solution | Ashdown Artificial Rooftop Lawn
To meet the requirements of this project, we used our Ashdown type grass to create a low maintenance and bespoke lawn. To deal with the challenging location, a crane was deployed to hoist the rolls of grass for installation on the roof. Given the tight schedule, we deployed a hard-working expert team who were able to install and finish this project within 2 days.
The Result | A Custom Synthetic Rooftop Lawns
As per the client’s request, they received a high-quality, artificial rooftop lawn that was both durable and child friendly. This project resulted in an Ashdown roof that looked as good as real and will serve Meridian School for years to come.
